The Cure has expanded their 2023 North American tour, adding more dates to accommodate the overwhelming demand for tickets. Three additional shows have been scheduled in San Diego, Montreal, and Atlanta, which were previously sold out in no time. The second shows will take place on Sunday, May 21, Saturday, June 17, and Wednesday, June 28, respectively.

In addition to these extra shows, The Cure has announced a new gig in Portland on Wednesday, May 31, at the Moda Centre. Frontman Robert Smith has described this particular show as an “experiment” to test the effectiveness of non-transferable tickets in combating ticket scalping and ensuring genuine fans can attend. Unlike other tour dates, this show in Portland will not require a ‘Verified Fan’ code from Ticketmaster for access to the public sale.

The reserved ticket sales will commence on a specific date, followed by a public sale shortly after.
