The Cure Tour 2023 US July Cooming Soon

The highly anticipated Songs of a Lost World Tour by The Cure, which recently concluded its successful European leg in December, is set to captivate audiences in North America from May to July 2023. This 30-date extravaganza will feature the immensely talented opening act, The Twilight Sad, across all shows. Renowned as one of the most influential bands from the post-punk era, The Cure will grace the stages of North America’s most prestigious venues, including a remarkable three-night residency at Madison Square Garden and a captivating performance at the legendary Hollywood Bowl.

In a remarkable show of generosity, The Cure has taken charge of setting ticket prices for the tour. With the exception of a limited number of Hollywood Bowl charity seats, there will be no exorbitant “platinum” or “dynamically priced” tickets available. The band’s primary objective is to ensure that their loyal fans can affordably access tickets and that everyone is afforded the opportunity to witness their electrifying live performances.

Commencing on May 10th, 2023, in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana, the tour will traverse numerous major North American cities before culminating on July 1st, 2023, in the sun-kissed locale of Miami, Florida. Alongside the iconic venues of Hollywood Bowl and Madison Square Garden, the tour will treat audiences to memorable spectacles at Montreal’s Bell Centre and the dynamic Xcel Energy Center in Minneapolis-St. Paul.

Following the release of their last album, “4:13 Dream,” in 2008, The Cure’s focus shifted towards enthralling live albums, compelling compilations, concert films, and reissue campaigns. Notably, their long-awaited 30th anniversary deluxe edition of Wish garnered significant acclaim. In 2019, the band’s enigmatic frontman, Robert Smith, curated an exceptional lineup of 60 artists for his edition of the Meltdown Festival in London, a venture that reignited his creative spark. The global pandemic-induced lockdown further provided Smith with the opportunity to delve into introspective lyricism, promising a return to the brooding themes reminiscent of The Cure’s earlier albums.
