PANTERA Announces Summer 2023 North American Tour With LAMB OF GOD

It’s great to hear that Pantera is embarking on a summer 2023 North American tour with Lamb of God as special guests. This tour is highly anticipated by fans, as Pantera is considered one of the most successful and influential bands in heavy metal history. The lineup for this celebration tour includes surviving members Philip Anselmo (vocals) and Rex Brown (bass), along with guitarist Zakk Wylde (known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne and Black Label Society) and drummer Charlie Benante (of Anthrax).

This tour is significant not only because of the music, but also due to the inclusion of Zakk Wylde, who had previously been hesitant about joining Pantera for a reunion tour. It’s interesting that his decision has changed, especially given the approval from the estates of the band’s founders, drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott and guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott.

The tour is produced by Live Nation and spans 20 cities, starting on July 28 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, and ending on September 15 in Bristow, Virginia. Alongside their headline tour, Pantera will also be performing as support during Metallica’s North America Stadium tour dates in 2023 and 2024. Additionally, they are set to headline major rock festivals in 2023, such as Rockfest and Inkcarceration.
Citi is the official card of the Pantera tour, granting Citi cardmembers access to presale tickets beginning on January 24 at 10 a.m. local time, running until January 26 at 10 p.m. local time through the Citi Entertainment program. This tour is certainly a significant event for metal fans and a great opportunity to see some iconic musicians on stage once again.
