Since his breakout role in the role of Chidi on The Good Place, William Jackson Harper has gone to interesting locations onscreen. He was a victim of Harga In Ari Aster’s Midsommar and was entangled in a mystery set in the summer of the critically acclaimed series The Resort – and next on the agenda, he’ll be featured in the mysterious trappings of the Quantum Realm as part of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. His character, known as ‘Quaz’ is kept mostly hidden from view – but you can take a closer look at his character in the exclusive photo above, which is featured in The Empire’s exclusive Quantumania front cover issue.
The only thing we already know regarding Quaz is that it’s believed that Quaz is a telepath and he’s in this picture alongside Katy M. O’Brian’s Jentorra she is a freedom activist who is ranting about injustices felt by the numerous communities of the tiny metropolis. We’re hoping Quaz will bring some of that Chidi-like skills to the battle to defeat Kang The Conqueror – Ant-Man and the rest of the team are going to require every help they can get to fend off the menace of the MCU’s brand new Big Bad.
Naturally, speculation regarding new characters is always in the air Internet speculation has the possibility that Quaz could be anyone from Mr. Fantastic himself (there absolutely is been a Fantastic Four report linked to each Marvel project over the next years) from the epic Marvel superhero Quasar (given Quasar’s name is easy to understand why the connection was established). In the typical Marvel Cinematic Universe style, we can expect that all of the details will be kept secret up to the point that Quantumania arrives on to the screen on February.
